An Update from Principal Carvalho

Dear Congdon Families,

I hope you are enjoying the final days of summer and getting ready for an exciting year ahead! I wanted to reach out personally with an update as we head into the new school year.

As many of you know, Congdon and DeValles Elementary will be combining into one school community this January. I am excited to share that I will be serving as Principal of both schools as we prepare for this transition, so you may see a bit less of me in the building day to day this fall as I split my time between Congdon and DeValles. Please know that Congdon remains just as much a priority to me, and I am fully committed to making sure both of our communities are supported and ready to come together as one strong Sharks family in January.

It has been such a privilege to serve as your Principal these past two years, and I am grateful for the trust and partnership you have shown me and our Congdon community. I look forward to continuing to grow alongside you this year, and to the exciting new chapter we'll begin together as one combined school in January.
